my second daughter
So, on late Sunday evening, 6.9.2009 our second daughter Miriam Hazel was born!
I was in Hospital the day before because I had a strange fever, which still no one can tell me where I got it from! So they first had to get my temperature down and put me on a drip, because I needed fluid fast. When I got into minor labour the doctors decided it would be best if the induced the labour to quicken up the birth - which was fine by me.
First stages of labour aren't bad and they always told me, that I can have an epidural if the pain gets too intense, so I was quite relaxed. That stopped when they told me they would rather not give my the epidural because of the unknown fever. Damn!
Well at least the birth was fast if under unbearable pain!
But, you know, you really forget, because it is the best feeling in the world to hold your daughter in your arms!
Now, we are settling in. Laura still needs to get used to not having our full attention, but she will cope! We are happy cause now we have our own little family together :D
And of course I need to mention that everything works just fine, so I was actually able to watch Supernatural yesterday. And what an amazing season opener that was! They are killing me!
