well, it has been a little while hasn't it?
new poem, needs revision, but i probably won't get to that.
captain shadow continues his tale
and i said
bring me that horizon
cause this life is old
but this heart is young
and my wounds have yet
to be stung by this
cold sea air.
lay these crimson rags aside
as i stand like a sail
half mast.
now!
let's search for neither silver
nor gold but for treason
of the highest and
most elegant style.
we want peasant-murdered
kings and sailor-slaughtered
sailors!
this ship will stop
for nothing but the worst!
baby butchered mothers,
adolescent adulterers;
only the best!
the worst!
bring the horizon so
that it may bury my
crew.
oh dear,
a twist!
i'm down with my ship.
