kinda long christmas/everything rant
It's very relieving that all this Chirstmas hype is over. It was just way to stressful for my liking.
Christmas eve and Christmas was sorta strange this year.
I must be getting old.
I swear all of my family members decided that they could talk about everything in front of me, i kinda enjoyed it. sometimes...
At my grandpas on the eve, i got offered alcohol. i refused it though.
Then for about 2 hours, some aunts and uncles and my mom and me talked about drugs, and my uncles crack addiction, which he says he overcame. SERIOUSLY, never do crack. it fucks with everyone who has done it. Look at my father for example... his girlfriend was a 4.0 student in college, gonna be an archaeologist, until she did it. why would u want to do a drug that sounds like part of your ass?
then they turn to me.... and go... "so shanna what drugs have you tried??"
i probably turned a nice shade of red.. my mom chimes in and says.."shes tried pot" hahaha. thank you mother, for that.
My grandpa :( hes so different now, after all the surgeries on his brain in the last year or 2. hes so emotional. its kinda hard to deal with. and his best friend Gary, is the nicest old man i will ever meet. he told me "the only failure is when you give up on something you love.." about my future and all that. i <3 him.
So stayed there til 1am, then i hadddd to go to the mosley's. and bruce wouldnt leave unitl flippin 4am! fell asleep with the other "children" watching Napoleon Dynamite.
I woke up at about 7am on Christmas morning with the stomach pains again. i think im dying. what a day to have stomach problems.
had the intermediate family christmas opening thing until like 2. I got a new stereo, and other random things i won't talk about. but the stereo is nice, since i hadnt gotten one since i was 12.
then we went to my grandmas. it wasnt as dramatic over there as usual. i had lovely. if thats what u call it, bonding time with my sister katie, we hadnt really gotten to talk talk about things in a long time...
straight after grandmas, we went to Bruces sister's house. it was a nice little gathering. Stefanie and Kitten picked me up from there at around 9.
Stayed at Jeff, Joe, P.k's house.
actually alot of people were in and out.
travis was there....
stayed on a couch with 2 other people (stef and kitten) surprisingly dont have any major body aches. interesting sleeping in that upright of a position.
anyways. today was stupid and not worth mentioning. other then i was gone doing church things, and then slept. whoo.
