Last night was AMAZING!!!!!
i can't emphasize it enough. i mean wooooow. i still have a smile on my face,
ook i'll explain.
i went to the machine shop in flint with steve to see MUSHROOMHEAD.
we got there early and they wouldn't let us in until 7, so we had to be bored off our asses for awhile...
well we got riiighht up front. like the barricade was just a thick chain though and it was pretty scary. there were three opening bands... skarrd, vendena and two heded chan...they were all pretty good, although i had never heard of any of them prior.
finally at lke almost 11:30 mushroomhead came on, the crowd got real rough. i had to kick some ass to obtain my front spot.
i took soo many pictures. i mean i didnt even expect to take any, and i used all of my film. oh well, it was well worth it.i think i got some amazing pictures.
the new singer waylon is amazing, although j mann is out, i think waylon will do great.plus jeff nothing is really the voice who makes the band anyways. nothing's stage-presence is spectacular, and the other new singer has such great audience interaction, you can tell he really appreciates what is happpening. he held my hand three times? and i touched the guitarists guitar 3 times, and the bass.i cant wait to see the pictures. steve got two banana 101.5 t-shirts and gave me one. it was a painful experience, and now my boobs hurt still(from the chain cutting into that area for some hours) but it was well worth the pain.and i guess it was worth getting humped in the ass and groped 50 million times ;)
afterward i got weylands mountian dew ...only partially drank, i drank the rest :).
then i bought "XIII" and some buttons. i got the cd signed by the two singers (jeffrey nothing and waylon) and talked to them a bit. they are sooo nice. i told waylon he did an excellent job, and he said that j mann's shoes are something big to fill adn it'll be tough. then steve took a picture of me with them, with waylon's arm around me... i hope hope hope it turns out!!
i talked to some of the guys in two heded chan. the drummer told me he saw me in the front and asked my name and told me we talked for a bit.
then i also got my mushroomhead cd signed by dj stitch he was sooo attractive lemme tell u...why wear a mask?? he was super friendly as well, and i actually got to talk to him for a bit. w00t w00t.
then i talked a lot to the guitarist of two heded chan.he calls himslef t-bone(he told me his real name is tony though) we talked about ICP a bit and then he told me he'd give me one of their cds(steve paid $5 for one) he took me to their trailor and gave me a free one, told me to keep in touch, and we talked for a bit, then we left.
i was sore and tired, but very satisfied.
ahhh what a night *sigh*
if i could relive that experince again, i definately would.
