Dream Live 4th!
With Aiba-muse nagging me for days, I finally decide to watch Dream Live 4th, despite the initial dreadful impression of the 3rd cast (with the noble exception of Aibacchi of course!) And what can I say?
It's freakin' terrible.
Well, compared to DL3, at least.
The 3rd cast is a disappointment (of course EXCEPT Aibacchi). The height is just all wrong. Inui's is right this time, but how on earth could Tezuka be of the same height as Fuji = = And speaking of the demon, Tezuka is just wrong. Even the appearance is plain wrong. The actor just doesn't have the same charisma that Tezuka/ Shirota Yuu gives out. Tezuka is supposed to emit some sort of aura that makes others respect him, while this Tezuka looks just like a douche. Echizen is too timid for an Echizen (not that I ever like him). Kaidou has such a baby face, while Momo and Taka look like twins. I cannot even tell who plays which role initially.
The singing is also terrible. The cast didn't have good vocals, so their voices' resounding wasn't good. The sound is way below DL3.
There's no sub so I don't understand anything they talk, but there are way too many teams. I agree that I'd like to see Fuji play volleyball with Saeki (and why on earth was he in Seigaku uniform??? I want bare-chest! Fuji :(( ) and against Kirihara, but I'm not overly fond of this setup. DL3 is much more interesting with only Hyoutei and Seigaku. I don't even understand the point of putting St Rudolf or Yamabuki in the Live. It's as if they run out of materials for the show, hence the recycling of teams. I'd rather see two interesting schools in a showdown than a bunch of middle-schoolers dancing together.
And on a side note, Yukimura is ugly. Which is a pity. I'm rather fond of him.
Aibacchi, poor thing. Didn't even have a proper farewell speech when you graduated. *Pat pat* See, I'm consoling you, so stop bugging me = = My tests are coming up one by one = =
P/s: On the bright side, at least Aibacchi has more screen time this time (and the first one to appear on stage <3) And even though I'd rather Shirota-kun be Tezuka, the duet TezuFuji did warm my heart XD"
