I wake up in a house that is my house but is also much more suburban and has a sloping roof below my window for some reason, and there is a small ginger cat (about 4-5 months old) on my windowsill - 'what are you doing here' i say and it jumps out the window onto the roof.
I look out and there are about 6-7 small cats all the same sort of age all different colours milling around on the roof. Standing in the road below is
the_smut_fairy . 'Hi I came to show you my new cats' she says. 'What are you doing with them all running loose? Don't they run off?' I say.
'No, i've got them trained - come here' All the kitties bounce off the roof and go over to
the_smut_fairy and sit around her in a semi circle. She holds up a treat and one by one they sit up and put their little paws together like they're begging and look up with big eyes - and she throws them a treat one by one which they catch. 'See you later' she says - and walks off down the road with them all running around her.
I'm not sure exactly where this came from but possibly it is a combination of seeing Kathy at the weekend and reading a book on cat training.
My brain can be very literal sometimes.
