Congratulations, Matthew. That's quite an advanced level of magic you've achieved. Most 7th years can't do it.

Happy birthday, I suppose.

T-thank you, Professor! I've - I practiced a lot, back at campus. It's really rather difficult, and I can't keep it up for very long and um --

Thank you.

You're welcome. Just keep working at it, you'll get better.

Summer going well so far?

Will do, sir! Charms have never been my strong point.

Um, for the most part, yes. Could have done without the body fiasco, but I'm sure that applies to everyone involved, eh?

Yes I think I could have done without that as well. I became Professor Bainbridge.

I don't mean to pry, but may I ask what it was like being ah... incorporeal?

It was very strange, not to be able to touch anything, to have my hand go right through walls and people. Floating off the ground was an odd sensation at first. I thought that moving would be difficult, like swimming but through the air. Fortunately, it wasn't. I suppose since ghosts have no mass, they meet no resistance.

Who did you become?

[I feel like Matty is a lot like Spencer was in his childhood, except that Matty is more socially adept. XD]
