Someone found another early Picasso, tucked on some English estate. He was about twenty when he painted it. These days it's risky layering too much praise on the man--people will look at you like you're stupid, I've seen it happen--but I think it has a lot of people pleased to see it surface again, even the sneery and unimpressed ones, because they call it gauche and over-represented, but you know they had Three Musicians on their wall in high school, too. Right next to Starry Night and Composition with Yellow, Blue, and Red.
--and if you were Pablo Picasso, kindly do not tell me about it. This is fair warning.
