Well,
I know it's only been a day, but I'm SOOO impatient to get the ball rolling on this move.
If I don't find a truck or van that's affordable, my mom and Mormor (gma) will drive here at the end of April with the station wagon and we'll put any big luggage/boxes on greyhound or courier and then drive with the bags and cat. We'll stay the night in Kamloops with one of my mom's friends or one of my aunts, and stay the night in vancouver at our friends, and I'll spend the day with my son and some friends depending on schedules then over on the ferry in the evening. My dad is also trying to see if he can get a weekend off to drive me in his minivan, which would be better, we could get everything in his van (I'm selling my furniture to Pokee, so I don't have to move it).
So, there are vehicles there if I can't find anything else, which is good, and I'm getting ants in my pants to get going. I'm starting to go through my stuff, dejunking, and sorting out other people's things.
I'll be doing a few days of "come and get it" over the month, if I have stuff of yours, and you can't get it before I leave, don't worry, it'll be boxed and kept here for you to pick up from the roomies.
On one hand, I'm raring to go, so ready and impatient, and on the other hand, I'm sad about leaving my friends behind.
I know this is the right choice for me though, and I'm looking forward to getting healthy physically and mentally, and going to school. OMG! ABE is free in B.C., you pay a $30 registration fee and that's it. So I'm going to get my upgrading free, and then grant funding for the med lab ass't program, and I'm on my way.
It feels good.
