Meeting the family..
Friday night we hung out with Gina and rented some movies. Knocked up, The Hills Have Eyes 2, and Hollywood Land. We only got through Knocked up. Gina's still not doing too good. It's been almost a year, she just got back from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. They think she has Wilson's Disease but she needs to get more tests done.
Saturday when Rae got home from work we had to go out to get her grandmom a present. She turned 80 on Sunday. We went to Ruby Tuesdays (since the 4th just passed), and then to the Springfield Mall. We walked around and went into a bunch of stores then went home to sleep.
Sunday was the party for her grandmom which meant I got to meet her dad's side of the family. How nerve wrecking. While she was at work I got my hair cut because it was getting too long and I didn't want to look like a bum. Her dad's side of the family is huge. There were a million people there. lol I already met her dad, her brothers Joe and Jake and her sister Erin but no one else. A little side note that I think is pretty neat - Mike, the singer from the band Jealousy Curve (who went on tour with All American Rejects) is her cousin. He was there too, he was nice. I thought that was pretty cool. After the party when we were leaving I got some hugs so that was nice. :) Her dad, grandmom and I think a few aunts might have given me a hug.
It was a nice weekend. I hate Mondays.
Oh and my baby also bought me the new shoes I wanted the other day, on Friday while she was off. What a nice wifey. :) ♥
