We got an apartment!!
We've been apartment hunting the past week or so, we loved the first place we looked at but we were forced to look at other crappy apartments because everyone said not to jump on the first one we see. We looked at one Saturday and it was a total dump, some old lady showed it to us and when we went back outside all her old lady friends were outside waiting to gossip. We drove by an hour later and they were still out there talking.
Yesterday we look at another one which was nice but way too expensive and no utilities were included. As we were looking at it Tim, the guy who owns the apartment we really liked call and said we can have it. (YAY!) so we didn't look at the second one we were supposed to. We have two to look at today but obviously we're not going to, we really liked the first one. It was super cute and the floors were nice because Tim is a tile guy and he lives there now. Everything should be perfect and working since the owner guy has lived there for 3 years and is now making settlement on a house. He wouldn't live in a dump, right?
It's a duplex, and some old guy lives on the first floor but Tim said he's a nice guy so that's good. Washer and dryer is right in the apartment so we won't have to go anywhere or pay quarters to use it. I'll have pictures in July when we move in! :) (P.S. - it'll be one year with my baby when we do move in!! weeEEEee!)
We'll be signing the lease tonight! :)
