over the years ive accumulated a lot of materials at home for beading but i have nothing in chicago. so when i come home i tend to bead bc i love it and i never really have the opportunity otherwise (with all that damn studying im supposed to be doing)
anyway since ive been home i had some projects that i had in mind to do...and also i was commissioned to make a few pieces. so heres some of the fruits of my labor
i made this a while ago for my mom its a yellow leather choker with clay flowers twisted around...
this is the reason im being commissioned. my mom wears this often and her workmates vocally covet.
i saw this pendant and really wanted to do something with it.
i made this in gold. then decided to make it in silver too.

you cant tell but the obsidian has an oil slick sheen to it that i think is really pretty
i made two necklaces that look essentially the same but one is way more expensive. you can tell in the closeups.
