looking for the scary stuff to keep you up at night? well there's plenty. has anyone ever considered applying the tools of forensic psychology to world leaders? i remember seeing one saying that hitler was insane, same for saddam, but what about other leaders? well somebody has. that article freaked me out when i saw it in adbusters... but what a good idea.
so we're being led by an "authoritarian persona" in the wake of a seemingly manufactured catastrophe similar to the reichstag fire... hitler blamed the reichstag fire on the jews--and popular outrage rallied behind him, eventually making him the fuhrer. but there is evidence that hitler and his nazis set the fire themselves.
so we're returning to the cold war mentality of fear just like in all those civil defence films...
