it really is november now. that means i have to write stuff. fortunately, i have no idea what i'm writing about, except for a few characters. this will work to my advantage since i will not be limited by silly things like plot. and the letter i is out.
spent much of the day in bed as i experienced the festivites of halloween a little overmuch. heather and cecilia dragged my poor carcass to three different parties. by the end of the night people were calling me ishmael because of my extensive knowledge of moby dick. and i was wearing a fez. good fun.
but more importantly than all that, the aliens vs. predator movie is finally in pre-production. the trailer is pretty worthess, but the site has a featurette that makes me salivate. maybe that's why the original alien movie has been re-released to theaters in director's cut format. not sure i've seen the director's cut of that particular film, even though it is one of the best sci-fi/horror movies of all time... maybe i'll stop by the theater tomorrow...
