burn away
yay Im home from Vegas. It went fast. The first day we wandered around and at night went to Harrah's and saw Tom Papa's standup. Hilarious. His opener made fun of my mom's name. something about her parents and random Scrabble tiles.
Next day we had the aerial tour of the Grand Canyon which was pretty awesome. It was a tiny plane so we rode with just a father-son and the pilot. I got a lot of good pictures. on the flight back to the airport I almost passed out, then I started puking. so yes, i used the barf bag and the father-son kept turning around and fanning me with their bags.
after we landed and i got on the a/c-ed shuttle bus, i felt fine. so we walked the strip that day and night. gambled some. i think i came out ahead like 5 bucks, but you have tip every freakin body so it was kinda fruitless.
third day was the Price is Right Live show. the host of Supermarket Sweep hosted it, so i was stoked. Neither of us got called to come on down, but i got so into it. yelling lower! or higher! and tryin to help these people win prizes. after that we saw a show at the Riviera.
Friday I insisted we visit the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton. We ate at Quark's Bar and Grille, I got two souvenir photos, one in the captain's chair and one in a borg chamber. Then I dropped like 100 bucks in the gift shop. It was ridiculous. I got Noah a tribble that purrs and vibrates. Im going to give that to him today at his first birthday party.
