If the US government and I have have one thing in common, it's that we both love to waste money.

I am now the proud owner of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys season 1 on DVD. Isn't that nice? :)

Hercules certainly was unique in its day. The box set even has the 5 TV movies they made before the show started. All in all, not a bad deal for the money. Although I am a bit annoyed that the box doesn't call the series by its true name, The Iolaus Show.

Xena had its moments, but I never really liked it as much. You and I are certainly in the minority though, Xena is by far the more popular show.

That's what always gets me. I know I won't be able to watch a DVD for some time, but when I see it for a great price I can't help but get it anyway. I guess it helps convince me going to work is worth it :)

I listened to The Stones of Venice this morning. I was surprised at how much I liked it, especially since it was written by Paul Magrs. The first two stories were pretty cliched, but Venice actually had a pretty unique setting for its story. The Doctor's "don't worry, I always survive in the end" attitude was pretty annoying though.

I'm looking forward to the next exciting CD and maybe some Herc eps. Sometime in the not too distant future hopefully.
