the crunch

I had this hour glass put in front of me back in January, and the sand is almost all emptied on me now as I realized I'm not even slightly prepared.

In November I'm having an art show, 'an art show?' you say! Yes indeed, all me, at some restaurant/bar/I'm not sure, and the crunch is really starting to weigh down on me in my head. I've managed to in the last month plan all the paintings out. I've taken a few photographs for reference work, and yesterday finally pushed a little further and picked up seven or so canvases... so I'm getting fairly far.

Regrettably, I think my biggest problem left is September and October are the worst months of the year, at my job, and I'm starting to realize I really have no time for anything left. I have a few birthdays coming up (and part of me wishes that I could just move them all to December) a few concerts I've committed myself to, and I seem to on a daily basis still say yes to certain things like hanging out with friends?, why do I say yes?

Realistically, I'd really love if somehow I could cancel my show, and try for something else a little further ahead. I guess see where I am by October?

Tomorrow, I have a scheduled appointment with my muse (I have a personal muse, I sort of love that he refers to himself as my muse, to me). Take some photos, and I REALLY hope before this time next week, I'll ether have a painting done, or three started! Fingers crossed.
