At least I don't look like a mutant!
So, I said I was gonna post the first bit of my fic, and I am! Here it is! BTW, it is (supposed to be) a sort of Top Gear/X-Men crossover based on the episode where they were all sick recently (I know the number, but I can't be bothered to look it up at the moment).

Now to the meat.
I like where this is going. Which mutant powers are we talking about here? If I read this properly, the various forms of leprosy that they all had that week will influence their abilities? So, James gets all cyclops-y, Jeremy will have a voice thing, and Richard has a magical zit like Invader Zim. So if we go with Jeremy, he can be a screamer that deafens people, or a siren that can both kill and sway people's opinions to match his.
Richard either gets "Postulio" or turns into a hamster. I'm going to be honest, I hate him as a hamster. Let us brainstorm all his other aspects.
-He likes bikes. I think he would make a great Human Torch (Fantastic Four- don't worry, they are Marvel, so it's the same universe)
-If you want to go See No Evil (James), Speak No Evil (Jeremy), and Hear no Evil, we can let him hear what people are thinking, ala the Stig and Professor X.
-He's short... pander to the comm and make him a faun.
Now as for the plot... Let's continue to pander to the comm, and make German Top Gear the baddies. Guy who can't drive- Magneto (holds to their world view even in the face of the overwhelming need to change perspective, i.e., get a license and a car in the 21st century). Guy who can drive- he's a bit flash... Pyro? And what's her name, the woman who makes Jeremy blush? How about my fav., Mystique.
It gives you the ease of having that whole Brits vs. Nazis/ x-men vs. the brotherhood/ etc. thing going on.
You could have evil cars too. Cars that are all anti mutant, and fight both sides... like the koenigseg (sp??!?!?!!).
Maybe they could fight at/ over the Nurbergring(sp?!?!??... damn Germans...)?

So many things! I'll have to look through my pile of notes and this and figure some things out. But there are a lot of awesome ideas up there! Totally fighting the Germans!!!

So, I totally think that no matter what, they will be having an epic battle against mutant!D Motor. At the Nurbergring(sp? I should know this by now). And probably they will have kidnapped/carnapped someone from TG as a hostage. I'm thinking Andy or Oliver. Can't choose... (any suggestions?)
Um... As for powers? I've pretty much decided that Richard is Wolverine, because it just works. I mean, he's short and fighty and likes motorcycles. Wouldn't want to get punched in the face, though.
I think Jezza should have some sort of uncontrolled pyrokenesis (that was why James's crossword was on fire), and it's practically canon anyway. He can have Amazing Powers of Suggestion as well.
And James is totally Cyclops, pretty much, for obvious reasons. But he totally needs an eyepatch. Or a monacle. I can just see him with a monacle and a pipe, being all awesome and stuff. 'Cause he's James.
I probably should have put this stuff in the original post up there, but I was tired. And these ideas totally added a lot to it.
