I am going to kill my smoke detector now
It is beeping annoyingly. I had Public Safety come to look at it, they said it was batteries. They also said they don't have any batteries, and that they would send someone to fix it in the morning.
I, however, will not be able to sleep with it doing this, as it makes me want to punch something rather a lot, and Jess is coming in a couple hours.
I have a few choices now. I can a) deal with it, b) go buy some 9-volt batteries after I get Jess, or c) hope that Kaylene still wants to hang out, and ask if we can go sleep at her place so I don't have to spend my cash on batteries.

In other news, every time it snows, and everything is all sparkly, I immediately think "it's like Twilight exploded all over everything!"
I just felt like mentioning that.
