A list of things I did at Con
Here it is. This is, of course, not nearly everything I did. It was a 4 day con with free alcohol, and I can't be expected to remember all of it.
I drank lots without getting drunk. I exterminated the Doctor and Doctor Horrible many times. I also stalked the both of them with 4 other girls who I was staying with. I did some karaoke, I tried to go to a panel that didn't exist, I bought a few things, I watched Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog with 500 people and it was actually a sing along (this is surprisingly fun and awesome)... I played with LED's, and I stayed up 'til 6 AM one night, and I ate cake and tea and cucumber sandwiches and actual food. I got rained on and went swimming and played Battleship lots, and danced a bit, and hung out with zombies, and was accosted by a drunk guy because I had a glow stick down my dress (this is not a good plan unless you are LOOKING for this to happen).
I found out that I don't make a very good Navi, but I'm a decent Dalek. I exterminated 7 or 8 people in one night, and 3 f them were Doctor Who.
There are a lot of people who like Top Gear there. This shouldn't surprise me as much as it does, except that all during school people were confused about ME liking it and saying that it was strange. Although, it may be more that it's me than just a geek thing. I guess I like a lot of things that are unexpected in comparisson with how I look and act on a regular basis. I'm not exactly the type of girl you look at and think "I bet she likes cars and giant robots and massive amounts of sci-fi."
Speaking of massive amounts of sci-fi, I have discovered some new things that I must watch. Some of them are not actually new, but I haven't seen them, so they're new to me. Like I haven't seen Being Human yet. It's apparently airing on BBCA in a couple weeks, but I'll probably just find it and get it from the magical internet fairies liek I do with everything else. And has anyone heard of a show called Dead Set? the premise sounds awesome and creepy. I'd love to watch it if possible.
