Just heard about the SciFi channel changing it's name. You can see how much I follow it these days... I have no idea what they were thinking. SyFy? Just looking at that word is making me physically ill. How am I supposed to watch the channel if I can't even look at the name?
Not that I've really been watching it much at all in the last few years. All they are to me now it a hideous heap of crappy "reality shows" and terrible movies. BSG was good, but it's over now. Eureka is good, but I haven't actually watched it on the network in a couple years - I just rent it. Otherwise they have what, reruns of Doctor Who, Enterprise, and Lost? Ooohh. Nice.
Anyways, on to happier things. I'm listenting to Animorphs: The Radio Drama. Specifically, the David trilogy (books 20-22). It is so made of win. I love how the Andalites are British and the Chee are Irish and I have no idea what kind of accent the Hork-Bajir have, and all the characters are voiced by 3 guys, which makes the girls' voices hilarious. Also, they get side tracked a lot. LOL
Been re-reading the books as well for a while. I'm on book 42. Nice.
Saw a very nice Dodge Challenger at a dealership yesterday while dropping off my sister's Jeep. It was orange, and the bonnet was up so you could see the engine. Delicious. I REALLY want to go test drive it. Maybe over Spring Break?
On that topic, I picked up a copy of Motor Trend the other day, and in it, I found a suprise! Apparently, within 18 months, I shall be able to buy my dream car, the Fiat 500, without having to import it or whatever. There may have ben some really excited squeeing.
Oh, and my Top Gear book finally came! *happy dance* It is prefect and hilarious in every way. It will be going everywhere with me for the next couple weeks. Also, it's turning out to be very good reference for my fic! Expect more chapters in teh next couple weeks!
I want to start making t-shirts for people. If anyone is interested, I'd love to make some (if I have time)!
