This year in school I am taking a course called Humanities. I have gone to this class 6 days and already it has changed my life. Our first assignment given by the most amazing teacher, was to write a personal philosophy. We just got to write about everything we believed ad everything we didn't. About who we are, and what we are made of. How we got here or why we are here. Everything about it was just amazing. It took me 15 minutes to write 4 and a half pages. I just couldn't stop writing. Once we turned them in we all got to present our key beliefs to the class and it was just so interesting to hear how everyone views life. I feel so much closer to this class after 6 days than I have ever felt before, even after 180 days with them. But the best part, the teacher came back after grading our papers, and said that we are all so wise for our age and have learned to question everything as we should, and then said she didn't deserve us as a class. SHE didn't deserve US.... I have never had a teacher that didn't treat me like a dumb kid that would just be gone forever after the year and they would never think about again. She remembers ever student she has ever had. It is amazing. I feel like I leave this class everyday a new, better person. It is the first class that everyday I leave feeling fulfilled and like i actually learned something. wow. just wow.
