My partner and I have moments like this, and we've each been on both sides.

I'm counting the minutes until someone asks me to write the make-up sex. ;)

it's not an argument, it's a moment of disconnection.

Aw... poor Jack. He needs to go out of his way to make sure Ianto has a better time this time than the last time they went out. After all, they *are* all alone now. ;)

Okay, I swear to god, I didn't read your comment above before writing this.

But at least you can stop counting now. ;)

Whoa. Does that count as the call for make-up sex?

Clearly this being in your head thing is reciprocal. Creepy.

Ah, Ianto, insisting that everyone pretend things are fine so he doesn't have to do all the work pretending for himself. Such a neurotic lad.

Yeah, he's got a couple of issues. Well, okay, he's got volumes.

Does nationalized health care in the UK cover psychiatry? This and this morning's TW1 battle anniversary story have left me with a deep certainty that Ianto's a Weevil-chase-gone-wrong away from serious PTSD-related freakdown.

I believe so, though Torchwood probably has special needs where psychiatry is concerned. "Yep, I fight aliens and was nearly eaten by cannibals, please don't section me."

Poor Ianto, fist Canary Wharf and then Cannibals. How can he NOT have PTSD; although a suppose if Jack can be buried alive for 1900 years and NOT come back crazy...
