Hell of a Day

Still playing catch-up with these. Still, they're great little exercises, and have freed my brain up to plot out the next several IEIT installments, two of which are now officially in production. Funny how that works.

*Hee!* You captured the idea of the superhero "Captain Jack mode" beautifully. And the banter at the end was cute as hell.

(Psst... line 2- "I this light")

Yeah, that's what I get for not running these past a beta first.

Let this be a lesson unto my entire readership that I'll cheerfully accept typo feedback.

Heh.

One of the things I really like about S2 Ianto is how he calls Jack out on the dramatics, especially in "Sleeper" and "Meat." It's good stuff, and a great toy for the sandbox.

Great banter.

'Still, they're great little exercises, and have freed my brain up to plot out the next several IEIT installments, two of which are now officially in production.' That's great news! Can't wait.

LOL! Very much the sort of conversation I picture these two having in quiet moments. :D

I'll admit, I'm fascinated by the sorts of things they must talk about when they're alone. Work, obviously, but the other things, too. If the show's anything to go by, they certainly have days like this on a pretty regular basis...

Yeah, sometimes he's an easy target. And deserves it. Bwa ha.

Sorry about the brain injury.

“Do you ever stop at the end of the day and think to yourself that the moment you’re in could be the only thing between the past and the future?”

YES. ALL THE TIME. It hurts my brain.

Course, for Jack, the present and the future are all sort of the same, in a weird way.

Love the mood Ianto's in here, and how clearly it reads.

It's funny how that works, isn't it? The present is surprisingly difficult to grasp/conceptualize sometimes. Sorry about the brain injury.

I'm glad his mood came through. Thanks!
