The Explorer!
So it's been a while... turned 18 and realized theres really not much to that, except I'm one year closer to 19. Had my last exam today, which is awesome cause now I have almost a month off! Absentia has been reduced to a 4 piece band, Me, Jer, Matt and Brad. We had to do something that we really didn't want to do, but felt we had to because it was best for the band. On tuesday Me, Matt and Jer are gonna be playing the Coffee House at Millwood. We decided to actually follow the coffee house theme this time around and actually play acoustic (except for me cause I don't have an acoustic bass). And we will be playing a show at Millwood on January 13th which should be awesome. Not sure who is playing yet but it's gonna be good regardless, just cause we're gonna be there!
So now to the big thing that I wanted to post about. I spent some more money that I really don't have and bought this guitar off a guy from in Halifax!
It's an Epiphone Explorer, which I am in love with, even though i don't play guitar, but I will soon enough. Tomorrow I have to go buy strings and some glue, because for some reason the nut broke off while I was cleaning the frets. Once i get that fixed up this guitar is gonna kick ass. But now more than ever i desperately need a job...
