(no subject)
Wow, so time for a real post... none of that other BS!!!
So this week is going to be freakin retarded because of the crap I have to do leading up to exams and essays and crap. But once that's all done its smooth sailing for about a month, which will kick serious ass! I'm looking forward to the sleep.
But anyway, this weekend was pretty uneventful, mostly jammed. Sunday tore up though! Well first it kinda sucked because we were jamming around 7:30 waiting for Pom to pick us up for RECORDING!!! Anyway so we are playing and the cops show up... which just sucks cause it has been a while so I thought we were past all this cranky neighbour crap. But it was late so I can understand, but I'd really rather they call or knock and ask us to stop than call the police. But anyway... on to the good part!
So Pom offered for us to record at NSCC with her for a project she is doing, and of course we said yes. We went down last night and laid out all the main tracks and stuff which was awesome fun. It was crazy because of all the mics they were using, and the fact that one of the boxes had the price tag still on it... $1800!!!! for a freaking mic!!! that is insane. But yeah it was awesome and now we have to go back and touch things up a bit and possibly do another song. It took quite a while just to get things going and stuff but it was so much fun!
Then I got home at 12 and just couldn't get to sleep... I think it was about 1:30 before I finally got to sleep. Which definetely made Psychology a struggle... i usually have a hard time staying awawke in that class as it is!
