what's your cowboy bebop theme song?
Personally (and i know that this will get me in trouble among the lj community)Cowboy Bebop is one of the only animes I really consider great pop culture. Another is Trigun, but Bebop holds a special place in my heart. Cuz I love jazz. Cuz I love cowboys. Cuz space is cool. And so are guns. And cowboys who shoot guns in space while jazz music plays in the background is an unbeatable combination.
Let's face it: most manga/anime feels like it was written for twelve year old girls, by twelve year old girls. but not bebop. Its characterizations are mature, and it succeeds in combining goofball humor with tragic story arcs. and guns are cool (in cartoons).

It is an excellent site of book reviews. the pieces posted are mature and fun to read. you can really tell that those involved are truly in love with the written word. and that's just like me, except i'm in love with the sound of my own voice and/or my name in print.
