been a while...
so, its been a while since ive written, but i guess theres a lot i need to get out -
its break... christmas, for the forst time in years was slightly enjoyable...
good family memories... crazy, right? its been a long time since that's
happened.
new years was a lot of fun - i went into the city to Webster Hall and spent it with
4 of the brothers from my favorite fraternity (lsu), and one of my favorite sisters
(jamieee!) - spent the night in North Jersey... and despite the cold, rainy, windy
night in heels leaving the city, all in all it was an amazing time.
New Years Resolutions:
1) Be more decisive ... i really need to work on this one - i can never make the decisions
i want to make - I'm constantly worried about what other people are going to think
about what i say and do - well, fuck that... 2007, this is the year I'm going to fall
into me... I know I say it every year -- but this year is different, because I believe
it... I really do. I can be stronger... and be happy. I really can.
2)Take care of myself / eat better / drink less ... this semester especially. I
have too much going on to let it all go down the drain.
3) Better my grades. I'm sick of this 2.7 - it's time to bring it up -- my goal going
into school was to be on dean's list - and i've yet to do it. It's time to get focused.
I'm taking 18 credits this semester, I'm president of my dance team, and i'm assistant
pledge mom for my sorority... Staying focused, keeping in check... I need to.
so, thats that.
I can do this.
