This pretty much sums up my temperment right now......Suffocating under the weight of the sea, wandering upon the ocean bottom as schools of fishies swim past me....in melody......and I'm left wondering if I will ever see you again...
Last night, Adam and I saw an amazing Florida Film Festival flick about the legendary producer Tom Dowd. The list of musicians he'd produced is simiply incredible! My favorite portion of the movie was learning about the recording process....mono to 8-track....very intersting! I'm definitely more intersted in learning more about Jazz music now.
That night, we headed over to Liza's for a small get-together/party. We played lots of fun card games, like Harry Potter Uno. Rock and Roll!
Tonight was the Socialburn/Seether concert. Fun times! I'm friends with the bass player, Dusty, and it is always quite interesting running into him at his shows. We have a strange relationship. I'm trying to convince myself to maintain the "he's a rock star, what do you expect" mentality, but I tend to see more within people and expect more from those who I spend time with.....maybe I'm just naive....maybe I just need to stay away from boys with geetars....or keytars for that matter! Are you laughing panky?
Tomorrow Kevin, Liza, Angela, and I are heading to Daytona Beach for another Socialburn/All American Rejects show. I'm pretty excited.
