Who:William & Hermione
When:Thursday December 18, just after lunch
Where:outside the Great Hall
What:Will's preoccupied, bumps into Hermione, the boys talk about the holidays, Will makes Hermione's day :)

*William*
He was muttering to himself as he made his way from the potions classroom to the great hall, trying to remember everything he had to do before Christmas. Not looking, he bumped into someone.
"Sorry, " he mumbled.

*Hermione*
Waving goodbye to Ginny, he didn't quite see the other man as he turned to head down the hall towards his quarters. Recognizing the voice, he chuckled slightly.
"Speak of the devil. We were just wondering about you, William."

*William *
He looked up, clearly distracted.
"Hmmm.. Here I am, fit as a fiddle," he said with a grin.
"Excited about the hols?"

*Hermione*
He shrugged as he ran a hand through his hair.
"It depends on how the situation is. That's actually why we were talking about you," he admitted before looking worriedly at the other boy. "Are you alright? I'm not keeping you from anything, am I?"

*William*
"Hmm, oh, Hi Hermione. Sorry, just a bit preoccupied with the hols and was going to grab a bite," he explained.
"So you were talking about me? What this time?"

*Hermione*
He raised an eyebrow.
"What is happening that has your mind so occupied? People don't usually think so deeply about the hols," he pointed out before smiling. "Nothing too horrid. It was more speculation about the estates of the pure bloods in the school."

*William*
"My family's coming. Well, Sven's parents and my sister," he explained. And we're having a big to do for boxing day. You should come," he added with a smile.

*Hermione*
He nodded.
"We'll keep it in mind in our planning," he said before taking a deep breath and plunging ahead. "Do you happen to know of anyone who may have a place to stay over the winter hols in France? Ginny and I fancy getting away from England and the boys, yes, I know it's silly of me to say that considering how I am now, but we are asking around. Even though this is poor timing."

*William*
He chuckled.
"My family owns a place in the South of France. Vacation home near Marseilles," he explained.
"No one's used it in a while, so it might be a bit dusty, but you're welcome to use it.

*Hermione*
His face lit up as he stared at Will.
"Really? You actually have a place in the south of France? Oh, that sounds wonderful and you haven't seen the state of some of the rooms of the Burrow or Grimauld place before Sirius and Remus purchased the cottage. Ginny and I will be able to handle a bit of dust. Are you sure it's alright?

*William*
"Of course. I mean, there's that and the townhouse in London," he said with a smile.
"It's perfectly fine. I'm not using it. "

*Hermione*
He shook his head.
"Oh, no. The place in France sounds perfect. Wonderful. Exactly what Ginny and I were looking for. Is there anything that you'd like brought to your party on Boxing Day?"

*William*
"Er, whatever you like, I reckon. Sirius is making the punch, whatever you like really," he said with a smile as he pulled out a piece of parchment and scribbled down the information about the vacation house.

*Hermione*
Taking the information from him, he grinned widely.
"Thank you so much, William. Is there anything we should know about the place other than it may be completely buried in dust?"

*William*
He chuckled.
"Er, I don't think so. Feel free to write me if you have any problems," he said with a smile.

*Hermione*
He nodded before pulling Will into a hug.
"Thanks, William. You're a life saver. And here we thought we may actually have to ask Fleur about a place."

*William*
He chuckled and hugged her back.
"Well, no need to worry about bothering Fleur. Enjoy it - just don't trash the place.." he teased.

*Hermione*
He rolled his eyes as he pulled back from Will.
"I'll try and keep Ginny on her best behavior," he said before sighing. "I hope getting away from here does her some good..."

*William*
"Yeah, Sven mentioned something about her being odd," he said with a small smile.

*Hermione*
He sighed as he nodded.
"I can understand why she might do this, but... Oh, the way she's going about it is just... If she starts doing this in France, I'm putting her under house arrest, I don't care if she's randy or whatever other excuse she has."

*William*
"She might just be really upset about something. Maybe it's the Draco/Pansy thing and spending the holidays alone," he said.
"It's hard for some people."

*Hermione*
He shook his head slightly.
"It seems like more than just the Draco thing or if it isn't more, then it is blowing up a lot larger than we all thought. It just all seems complicated when she talks about it and makes me worry more about her..."

*William*
He nodded.
"I wish there was some advice I can give you, but I really don't know what would help her. Maybe it's just that time of the month or moodiness?"

*Hermione*
He frowned.
"I don't remember her getting overly horny at any other time of the month... Oh well, we'll see. Hopefully the hols will suss this all out..."

*William*
He nodded.
"Hopefully. Do you need a house elf or anything while you're there?" he asked curiously.

*Hermione*
He couldn't help the face he made before shaking his head, holding his tongue on the matter.
"No, no. We'll do quite fine on our own, I think. It shouldn't be too hard to fix up with a few spells."

*William*
He nodded.
"Just checking you know. Hospitality and all," he said with a smile.

*Hermione*
He sighed.
"Pureblooded hospitality. I'm sure you've heard all the mockeries of the spiel, so I'll save your poor ears."

*William*
He made a face.
"Sorry, I didn't mean.." he sighed.
"Let me know if you have any problems or you need anything, okay?" he said.

*Hermione*
She shook her head.
"It's alright. Considering your family, it isn't something to be surprised about. I'll let you know though. Oh, are there keys or any sort of wards we should be wary of?"

*William*
"I'll make sure the wards are down and everything's unlocked. Will you be going there Friday afternoon?"

*Hermione*
He nodded.
"Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. It depends if Ginny needs to get anything from the Burrow."

*William*
He nodded.
"I'll have Archie take care of it tomorrow morning then," he said with a smile.

*Hermione*
He smiled gratefully as he nodded.
"Thank you so much, William. We'll be sure to be at your party for boxing day. Although maybe you should write down the location of where it is too," he said as he held out the parchment back to will.

*William*
He chuckled.
"I'm hoping to get actual invites out," he said as he wrote down the floo address for the manor.

*Hermione*
He nodded.
"Well, don't forget to send ours down to your place then. Although if you forget, we'll be there anyways. Thank you again, William."

*William*
"Your welcome. Don't mention it. Have a good time!" he said with a smile.
