Saturday Morning--Early

Jul 13, 2005 15:17

Who: Jade
When: Saturday Morning around 7ish
Where: Great Hall
Why: Getting ready for Quidditch Tryouts and an unpleasant surprise.

Jade sat down at a relatively empty table in the Great Hall, unconcerned about which table it was exactly.  She was staring off into space thinking about the Quidditch Tryouts today and how things were going to go when a tan owl flew in and sat down on the table in front of her sticking out it's leg with a letter attached.

"Dear Jade,

Before I explain why I'm not there please understand that I do love you and this hurts me to write.  I've spent the last month arguin' with my ruddin' mother and she won't let me return to Hogwarts this year. Somethin' about fearin' for my safety and some other stuff...after the first week I stopped listening.

The reason I am writing though is because I do not want to hold you back while I am kept so far away from you. I think we should end things for both our sakes. I don't think it is fair for me to ask you to wait. This is not to say that sometime soon there may be a future for us, but not now, unfortunately.

I know I meant to you at least as much as you meant to me, but inspite of this I hope you can move past me swiftly. I would blame myself eternally if I had broken up with you to not hold you back and my memory still did.

I would like to keep writing to you, but if that was too painful I would understand.

Yours Forever,
Seamus

All of a sudden, she couldn't breathe.  She got up and ran towards the Great Hall doors, not thinking where she was going.
