SO, HILARITY
I haven't dated in years, because the relationship drama of people around me is more than enough! (only half true) Tonight, it's my mom's stupid boyfriend who's bringing the lulz.
Long story short, they've been dating for quite some time, and, much as it pains me to think of it, their relationship is a sexually active one. UNTIL NOW, as her boyfriend, being Christian, has decided that they will no longer have sex until (if?) they get married.
I LAUGHED, and then I facepalmed.
I am sorry to anybody who is A) Christian and B) believes in waiting until marriage to have sex, but both of these people have been married before, and also have had sex with each other before, so it is really, really difficult to take him at all sincerely. So much bullshit.
I really do sometimes wonder if my inability to get into a relationship is at all impacted by having watched all my mom's relationships turn out like trainwrecks.
