A new comic page, you say?
ughhhhhhhhhhhhh I cannot believe how horrible I was at keeping my New Year's resolution, I didn't announce it really but I wanted to update on time, and now--! =[ Ah well, I will just try harder for the rest of the year!! I need to just go and thumbnail/rough out all the remaining pages, it's really stupid and doesn't take a long time but that will probably help a lot.

I need to get things done, I'm not really happy with where I am in life right now and screw this economy, saying how bad the economy is has just become an excuse, I need to do the things I want! I don't care for getting a better day job, I care for making enough money off of my art that I can quit my day job--well, at least one of them. So what steps do I need to do to get there...
And, unfortunately I just found out that apparently I'm not teaching in April! My coordinator for the classes just contacted me asking if I'd like to teach in the summer--I asked what about the April classes we'd discussed? Our discussion had included me proposing the class, writing the syllabus, confirming the dates and times... there was nothing to indicate that it wouldn't happen, I did all the steps I needed to do. But it seems that they couldn't guarantee they'd get a class room for it, so they just didn't schedule it?? I know there are other teachers on my flist, so guys, does this happen often at colleges? It was going to be a 6 week non-credit course... hopefully it still will be, just now moved to the summer. I'd really like to set up these courses all year round, the income is really nice and I like teaching comics (much as I sometimes doubt my qualifications to do so). Of course, it's an hour commute, I really need to get a car of my own--but to get a car I need a higher income, euuuugh......
The sad part is that if I didn't have these foolish student loans to pay off, I'd really be doing very well financially! But alas.
Need to take Simba to the vet, he'll doubtless have to get another dental cleaning which will cost way too much.... but it needs to happen. Poor puppy dog, he's getting so old.... =[
Well, it is way beyond time for bed! Looking forward to being a drooling zombie at work tomorrow, ahahaha _orz
