Now that I am reasonably sure all my Christmas mailings have reached their intended recipients, I feel free to post this.
So! I did a few Christmas cards, and--well, I don't do a post offering to send those out, because it's pretty rare that I get to do them, and typically they look really horrible. I'm the kind of person who'd rather not send anything than send something I think is crap, so I don't do it. But this year, I pushed myself to get some Christmas gifts in the mail before Christmas actually arrived, and maybe in that rush of festive joy I was able to squeeze out a few decent Christmas cards. Because they weren't masterpieces, but I thought they were pretty cute!
One of them, however, was by far my favourite. I liked it so much as a simple lineart that before I knew it, I had markers out. It was a quick colouring job, but it only solidified my love. Indeed, at that point I felt there could be no greater festive holiday cheer.
Here is that card.
Seriously, I hate these pokemon in game but I suddenly understand why they were created; they are so fun to draw. Try it. It is one of the most satisfying, if not downright gleeful things. There may be more bidoofs from my brush-pen in the future.
Oh yes. There may be more.

I have two questions for those who have put up with this journal so far!
The first is a music download request rather than a question I guess, derp derp derp.
Does anybody have that fireflies song that's always playing on the pop stations right now? I don't even know who it's by, I just know that I like it, it's a sweet cute adorable song and that means a lot to me when everything else on the radio is all dicks dicks dicks.*
The second question--to my artist bros** out there!
Do you offer commissions online?
If so, have you been commissioned for your art by internet strangers?
And, do you advertise on any sites that you offer commissions?
*Please do not take this sort of statement seriously. It's true that I'm not fond of most popular music now and I do think a majority of it is sexually charged, but I really hate when these kind of blanket gereralized statements are assumed to represent the entirety of my opinion. Really? You really think I made that statement in any seriousness?
**"bros" is a gender-neutral term as far as I am concerned, which is as far as anybody should be concerned.
