(no subject)
ughhhh i'm so tired i want to play video games and not have to work on comics. =[
Back from Nebraska, happy to be with my babies again~ Kira & Mr. Dave & apparently even Collin took care of my children while I was gone, which did put my mind at ease for the duration of the trip. But I missed them and it seems they missed me quite a bit as well, and I am glad to be back home.
Mom and I did our holiday shopping for each other while we were in the same state, and so now I am the happy owner of Phantom Brave for the Wii, but the game is very very addicting and... and I want to go play it now and shirk all responsibilities. =[
Also, SO EXCITED FOR ZELDA SPIRIT TRACKS I WANT THAT GAME
mom got me a gamestop gift card too, that i can put towards it, it's the one with the zelda graphic on it so i, uh, might hang on to it even after spending all the monies ._.
Mom and I also visited her parents, which was my idea and my insistence, and it was an unfortunate time had by all due to my crazy manipulative passive-aggressive grandmother. But, oh well, they are old and don't get to see me often, so I can be miserable for a few hours if it makes them happy. It's much worse on my mom, who really has to cater to my grandmother's whims in order to try to earn love that she'll never really be given. Most children just want their parents to love them. I'm lucky in that respect, but since I have it I don't realize it often.
Mom has a new boyfriend, as well~ He seems to be a cool guy, I had a good first impression of him and did not dislike him. He is very religious, not in a force-it-on-other-people way though, which is good. Because, I have nothing against religion, just some of the people who want me to partake of it. Apparently he disapproves of homosexuality though, he's not going to be hateful about it but he will quietly disapprove and disagree with it, and mom lent him her copy of my comic Ashes to read, so... ahaha!
(For the uninformed, Ashes features a parody of Cinderella with a lesbian couple.)
Well, whatever, if it makes him uncomfortable to read that, I'd be lying if I said it didn't please me.
Anyway, so that was my week, and now I really really want to go play Phantom Brave some more. What is the mystery behind the monster that killed Ash and Marona's parents!? Will Walnut ever reveal the reason he's such a huge asshole?! Will other story characters ever become playable and join my party!?! WILL THE MINOR CHARACTERS STOP BEING HUGE DICKFACES!?!?!?

To be fair I still haven't been able to force myself to read past chapter four of that book, but the link is amusing and seems pretty reasonable all things considered.
