I feel bad about not posting anything in ages, but I'm not really sure what to say because life's been fairly dull/peaceful and unproductive. Thus, a question meme which has been significantly cut down from it's original size, because no one is really interested in going through an alphabet list of people I've kissed.

1. Do you have any empty alcohol bottles hidden somewhere in your room? No. I have an empty bottle of Bitch Bubbly displayed proudly on a shelf in my bedroom. It has flowers in it. (Seriously, I'm not an alcoholic or a teenager. I ain't hidin' my booze.)
2. What’s the best part about school? Being exposed to thoughts you wouldn't have had on your own and people you wouldn't have met on your own and growing from those experiences.
3. Can you drive a stick shift? I cannot. I hear this will make vacationing in Europe difficult.
4. Would you ever smile at a stranger? It's quite customary to smile at strangers here, or at least acknowledge them with a nod.
5. Have you heard a song that reminds you of someone today? I have not.
6. Do you wear jeans or sweats more? I wear pajama bottoms or soft work-appropriate trousers most often. I have one pair of jeans and no sweats.
7. When’s the last time you were aggravated and happy at the same time? The pets do that to me all the time.
8. Do you care if people talk badly about you? It depends on what they say and who says it. However, as I've gotten older it's gotten so much easier not to care anymore.
9. When was the last time you cried? Last week. The hours after midnight can be the toughest ones in which to be alone, particularly when unhappy anniversaries approach.
10. Name something you dislike about the day you’re having. I haven't accomplished what I'd intended too, but that was cleaning things out and the pile will still be there tomorrow.
11. Have you ever wanted someone you couldn’t have? Oh, yes. It went badly.
12. Who was the last person you talked to before you went to bed last night? If we're counting pets as people, it was either one of the cats or my dog. If only humans count as people, then my mother.
13. Where is the shirt you are wearing from? Orientation at my undergrad alma mater the year after I graduated.
14. Does anyone hate you? If they do I don't know about it.
15. Think of the last person who said I love you, do you think they meant it? Yes, we are best friends, soul mates, and platonic life partners.
16. Do you like watching scary movies? Psychologically scary, yes. Blood and gore scary, no.
17. Do you want your tongue pierced? No, I like the enamel on my teeth right where it's at.
18. If you had to delete one year of your life completely, which would it be? I wouldn't want to delete a whole year because that would affect every single thing that happened in every year that followed, but I'd be happy if significant chunks of 2010 vanished from my memory at least.
19. Did you have a dream last night? I dreamed the back neighbor got three aggressive dogs and they jumped the fence and I had to beat them back with my long horse whip.
20. Do you think someone is thinking about you right now? Sure, why not. You're reading this so you must be thinking about me.
21. Did you have a good day yesterday? Yes, I got to spend an hour in a room full of kittens and I think I met my own newest kitten.
22. Has anyone told you they don’t want to ever lose you? Yes, but he himself left all too easily.
23. Would you date an 18-year-old at the age you are now? Probably not, particularly since I work at a university. Dating students or potential students seems particularly awkward, and mentally I'm in a very different developmental stage now than any 18-year-old.
24. Do you replay things that have happened in your head? Yeah, but more often I speculate on how things could play out in the future and my various responses to those happenings. So far reality has never turned out like the scenarios I've prepared myself for.
25. Have you ever liked someone you didn’t expect to? Haha, have I ever, and I had a total meltdown when I realized I'd fallen and fallen hard for someone I never would have anticipated.
26. How’s your heart? Still beating. Probably a little fatty. My diet's pretty bad.
27. Will your next kiss be a mistake? I'm hoping my next kiss will be a deliberate act including full consent on my part as well as my partner's, which would make it not a mistake but intentional.

29. If your first true love knocked on your door with apology and presents, would you accept? I might give him another chance, but he'd have to prove his worth. An apology is nothing without the actions and commitment required to avoid repeating the original mistakes. I hope I'd make a better partner now too.
