At first it said that the computer system picked up the conversation on a cell phone, but then they're clearly in the same kitchen together because the one guy starts mentally griping about how he always ends up doing the dishes, etc. unless I missed something on my quick read through. The computer system came across as too human, like it was actually thinking about things rather than processing data. Could be an interesting story if he worked with a beta/editor to tighten things up.

I noticed that too, the confusing shift in the scene, and the anthropomorphizing of what's supposed to be just a computer program.

This wasn't horrible, but I've read better fan fiction.
