I have finished my first round of revisions. One previewer read the entire (rough) first draft and provided valuable commentary. (And thought it was pretty good, flaws notwithstanding.) Now that I have hopefully done enough patching and polishing, I have a second draft in (theoretical) final form which has now been released to the entire team of

I don't think I've ever left a comment on livejournal before so I'm not sure why I had to add a title or if I'm even doing this right, but I just had to jump on here to let you know that this is literally the best news I have heard all week!! (Let's ignore the fact that it is only Monday night.) I don't know if I have ever been this excited for a book release. Keep doing your thing!

I can't stress enough how much happy I am. After I took my final exams and finished with the semester I started my emotional recovery re-read:)

I even reread the Lands Below (just finishing it now) which I do only occasionally but this time I wanted the reading process to be as long as possible so I endured the pain.

I was thinking maybe my reread would be fresh when AQATWW came out and it will! And this will be my first time to be here when a new book is released. So I am excited about that as well.

Besides all this, as always, I am so grateful that you are giving us this masterpiece. Incredible work. Thank you so much.

And I want to thank all the beta heroes too!

This is one of the two masterpieces I expect to see this year, and probably before the end of the summer. The other is Rob Walton's Blood Lines, which is complete and about to be published.

Awww YEAH!!! i hope the betas will give this treament a passing grade. Im sorry i tend to be impatient when a new "Quick" book is almost done. I persoanlly cant wait to see what shenanigans Alex will get into in this book. AQAWA was awesome. It was worth the wait, and certain scenes i could see in my head...particularly the *spoiler alert for those who havent read it yet*; ozark magic scene and her justice with those folk that wronged her. I especially loved the snarky comment she made near the end of "sucks to be you" to those "folk". Anyhoo, i cannot wait to read the chapter by chapter goodness that will be AQAWW.
