I found your blog procrastinating, slightly, reading your Alexandra Quick books. I was meant to have been finishing Hard Times. I don't love Dickens, hence the procrastination, but I don't mind Hard Times. I think it is interesting to consider his social criticism on class. I'm working with it comparatively right now with Gaskell's North and South. Have you read it? If not I recommend it! I believe Dickens edited and published it so it's interesting to consider the ways they portray Manchester and industry
