For me "QUANTUM OF SOLACE" was flawed but entertaining. "SKYFALL", on the other hand, was crap.

And why do you claim that only the Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore eras were ridiculous? May I point out some Sean Connery movies that I feel were ridiculous? Like "DR. NO", "GOLDFINGER", "YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE" and "DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER". The Connery era started this crap, not the Moore era.

The Sean Connery movies were a bit cheesy, but it was Roger Moore who turned them into utter camp. (MOONRAKER!) Pierce Brosnan wasn't so campy as an actor, but the plots and sets were like bad superhero movies.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. The Connery era started this crap with the godawful "GOLDFINGER". He continued it with "YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE" and "DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER". Hell, I even consider "DR. NO" a piece of crap.

I have been anticipating the Avengers film for years. It was everything that a film should be: fun, fun and FUN! The comic book nerd in me was satisfied, the film geek in me was happy. It was great!
