memoirs of an idiot.
tonight was wonderful. i went and saw memoirs of a geisha with kelsey. we bought tickets but ended up sneaking in anyways, because a giant crowd came up and the ticket checker ran to do something else. he didn't notice me. afterwards, we went outside and thrust out hands to the full moon in agony as we realized that our hunger could not be satisfied by the risky prices of the regency movie theatre. from there, we hit the streets, prowling the sidewalks in search of a good meal. suddenly, the pizzeria sign flickered into view. our prayers had been answered, and we darted across the street, narrowly dodging death by drunken saturday-night drivers as the beasts in out bellies screamed for nutrition.
well, then things stopped being poetic. we went back to the movie theatre and since our movie tickets hadn't been torn, we turned them back in for $$$$$ big bucks. nineteen to be exact. that's a lot, kids. inspired by this, we stampeded across the street once more and returned with a vengeance to the pizza place, this time in search of pie.
it was a good night. funny how just getting out and about can really do a hermit like me some good.
