Monster High Mania!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feb 06, 2012 13:15

Since the last time I posted photos of my Monster High collection, I've added a couple of dolls.....Okay, maybe more than a few......alot. Mattel does a fantastic job on these dolls and I'm addicted to them. Still on the hunt for basic Abbey.........No wonder she's the daughter of the Yeti. Now on to photos!!! :-D

The current state of my Monster High dolls.

The left side of my makeshift display. Included are the Create a Monster packs. Those are fun as I've made two. The Sea monster is Marina Blue, Lagoona's rockabilly vintage fashion lovin' older sister and Nefera's rival. The insect is Beeonica von Hive. She's a world famous French pop singer. In the corner, there is Abbey in her Snowboarding club outfit.

The right side. This where I keep my 4 most favorites: basic Ghoulia, Spectra, Operetta, and Sweet 1600 Draculaura. See, the basic Draculaura. She has a special place. That Draculaura was my very first Monster High. I got her when she was very first released in Dec of 2010 and she was the sole doll at Wal-Mart. Imagine my delight when I found her as Draculaura as the very one I wanted. Also, You can see Abbey......Wait a minute? Yes, I did say I was looking for Abbey but those two Abbey's are Skull Shores. The one I'm looking for is her first doll in her default outfit. They are two completely different Abbeys. I don't mind. The Skull Shores Abbey has more prettier make- up. I got one at K-Mart and the other at Wal-Mart. I've only seen Skull Shores Abbey twice in stores and they were only one in the store.....Those are the Abbeys. Dawn of the Dance Ghoulia and Draculaura are beside Skull Shores Abbey.

Day at the Mall Draculaura, Gloom Beach Clawdeen in Frankie's Fearleading uniform, Gloombeach Draculaura, and Dawn of the Dance Frankie.

Classroom Ghoulia and Gloom Beach Cleo. They are best buddies since I bought them together. Also, I love that Cleo. I felt sorry for her since she stayed at the Wal-Mart forever. I picked up Ghoulia and decided to bring Cleo home, too. Gloom Beach Cleo is underrated foll in my opinion. Her swimsuit is a bit skimpy though.

Outfits! Monster High outfits are awesome! They are very well detailed as they remind me of the care Mattel put into Barbie's outfits in the '60s. My fave is Ghoulia's comic book club. Comes with an action figure! Also Spectra's outfit since Spectra is my fave Monster High doll. The reason these are in the boxes is that I don't have any extra dolls to model them. I also have Draculaura's Newspaper Club, the mentioned Abbey's Snowboarding and Frankie's Fearleading outfits

Now solo photo time.

First Operetta! Operetta kinda looks like Dolly Parton in the face....Maybe it's just me.

Cupid. Yes, Cupid! Funny story on Cupid. I found her at Wal-mart still in the shipping box on the store floor. So I opened the box, grabbed a Cupid and headed to the the checkout. It was a rush as I was stalking Wal-Mart for weeks for her. Anyway, Cupid is like " Yo! Yo! What's up my Homies?" She also likes cupcakes with sprinkles. I'm not making it up as it says that on her bio card.

Skull Shores Ghoulia. She looks like a '50s pin up.

My second wave Spectra. Here she is posing it for the camera.

Nefera de Nile. I know Nefera is a villian but her doll is....FABULOUS!!!! Beautiful! Nefera is so lovely in person. I had no plans to pick up this doll till I saw the last one on the shelf. That last doll on the shelf went home to me when I saw her beauty. Nefera is also bigger and taller than the other dolls.

Toreli. Found at K-Mart. Her hair has been restyled a bit to give it more of a bob then helmet hair she was sportin' in her box. Mattel did a aweseome job on her. Like Nefera, this a doll that is more stunning in person. Yet another funny story, I got Operetta(ordered her at retail price of 19.99 on Amazon), Cupid, and Torelie within a 3 day period. Operetta and Cupid on the same day. On weds, I was stunned when I found Toreli within' Kmart. I reimagined the Toreli character with my doll. She is a more of the new girl on the block and learning about the other dolls in the collection. Toreli is shy little kitten who likes makin' friends, loves '80s pop culture, rockin' out to heavy music, and has a crush on my Gloom Beach Jackson Jekyll. I took her photo at the last minute and this is why Toreli isn't in the other photos. She really is the new "ghoul" at school. Me and my bad puns.

Hope you guys enjoyed the Monster Hight Mania!!!!! See you next time! :D
