Ow.

My ass hurts. Why, you ask? Because after being convinced for 17 years that I couldn't, I finally learned how to ride a bicycle. And now I'm addicted. Can't stop riding to save my ass.
Now, if I could just learn how not to go into the ditch or run into trees.

Now I don't feel so bad about not having learned to ride a bike until I was, like, 7. *ducks* But I still can't swim, if that makes you feel better.

I can't swim either! Do people treat you like you're some kind of mutant because of it?

MUTANT!

If you're never going to be in a boat or near any large body of water, then it probably doesn't matter. But, I think if you did fall in a large body of water and didn't panic, you'd be fine. Panicking is what gets people.

Well, I grew up next to the Pacific ocean, heh. But I've got this thing where I don't mind being IN water, but I can't have it go over my head. Like I can't be submerged, you know? So I never get in any situations where I have to know how to swim.

I'm the same way. As long as I can keep my head above water, I'm fine. In further than that, I freak.

Not overmuch, but my boyfriend (a certified lifeguard) finds it unbearably amusing.

Never know. I didn't think I could either. But my ex tried to teach me. Put me in the water and I was a better swimmer than he is. Apparently sometimes it is natural.
