Still alive
I'm still alive. Mostly I lurk around on other peoples' journals and giggle at my little communities. "But why don't you post anymore, Lauren?" Well, because my life is actually really boring. I work at a job I really don't like, but I'm good at it and it pays the bills. When I'm not at work, I'm sleeping or putzing about aimlessly on the computer. If that's not happening I'm cleaning something up around here. That's not very exciting. Certainly not for me and very doubtful that would exciting to many of you. However, I have come up with a new life plan though. Want to hear it? Here it goes:
I'm actively working on getting my TEFL/TESOL certification to teach English as a foreign/second language. By October 2009 I intend to be en route to Germany to teach English. I want to be there for at least one year, but hopefully 2+ years. I'm going to start taking the courses as soon as I save up a bit more, they're kind of pricey.
That's what's new in my life. Exciting. Expect more posts when Lizz harasses me more.
