More updates about Germany and such
So, Germany... Not going from June-early July because that's when World Cup Soccer is happening. Hotels, airfare etc are slim for the pickins and way expensive to boot. Plus, I don't want to deal with soccer hooligans on my first (ha ha, like I've got the time and $ to go more than once) trip to Germany. Planning on going in Aug (probably 14-19). Found a hostel (don't think about commenting with references to the movie) thanks to an awesome coworker that's 27 Euro a night. Sweeeeet. Seeing if my Dad can swing a flight via Frequent Flyer Miles, especially since he's getting all the miles for my Russia trip. Seeing what my flight options be. I can construct German sentences about number and color of plates. Yes yes very handy Rosette Stone German program!! Where in these lessons so I get to know how to ask how much something is, where the bathroom is, and for directions? Needless to say I could tell you all about plate number and color and how many windows are on a house. And point out people riding horses and motor-scooters. *kicks language program*
