Found Without Tomorrow
This is lanalana (spider in Hawaiian); an Orb-weaving spider. I have watched it make her/his home more than eight times, and move a good fraction of those eight times. Of the last two, it built its web right outside my bedroom window. The day before it disappeared, it decided to center itself on its intricate shiny web. I watched it for a bit and later came back and find it wrapping its prey.
