Tomorrow is prom, yes?

The red dress finally gets to see the light of day, poor thing has been hanging in my great aunt's old room all by itself.
I went to Call Back rehersals and felt so awful the entire time, my head was pounding and my stomach was contorting and twisting everytime I moved. All in all though, I think I did okay..There were two other girls there going for the same part [I think] and Taylor did really well, but I'm not sure how Caitlyn Sama did, I was allowed to leave, so I did. I sent an e-mail to Mrs. Vinnick apologizing for my lack of punctuality [I was at least 25 minutes late to arrive], and I also expressed my excitement for the coming summer.
If you heard/saw what I saw during the call backs, you would understand. Such great talent ! Its really something like a breath of fresh air to see new faces in the summer program as opposed to the same people [not that those people are any less talented]. It was fun and exciting.
For the first time I'm really okay with not getting any part but Chorus; I'd be happy enough contributing to the backdrop as the people eligible enough do their thing. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have a talking part, but you know. I'm happy enough watching it come together.
I think I did my best at tryouts/call backs and that's all I can really say for myself. Taylor was great, and from what I saw from the first tryouts Caitlyn was great too. Either way, things work themselves out =)
Now I can't sleep at all. My cold does a great job of keeping me occupied with trying to breath. Hair and makeup tomorrow .. A little apprehensive about the makeup part; I'm not big on wearing makeup but once in a while its great to get yourself dolled up, and the best part is is that I don't have to do any of the actual work! My only experience with actual putting on the stuff is from dance [when I was like.. 4] to theatre [now], and that crap is stage makeup..... In other words, strong and disastrous to my skin. Whoooo knows.
I just wish it was tomorrow already, tomorrow afternoon, more like. I want to know who got what part for Mame, I want to put on my dress, I want to see Dan in his tuxedo, I want to begin rehersals and bowling, I want to visit Salve....So much I want and it is less than encouraging to know how impatient I am with everything.
Fingers crossed that it wont rain tomorrow?
[P.S. I'm going to see the Stepford Wives once it comes out, mainly because I am self indulgent and as un-scenester as one could get. Plus its got Nicole Kidman in it. Nicole = monstrous amount of whispering lines/facial contortment. FUN.]
