He had followed Kikyo's scent to a nearby clearing and what he found made him gasp in horror. Kagome was standing with Kikyo, her hand was red and her forearm was bleeding, but she was paying no heed to that. Instead she was watching Sesshomaru fighting with some other demon. A string gust of wind blew at him and with it came a familiar scent. It tickled a memory but he shrugged it off. InuYasha jumped to the closest tree as he wanted to get a better view. He found a comfortable spot and looked at the scene again. His breath caught in his throat. The long red-gold hair that looked like wildfire, gleaming fierce golden eyes and milky pale skin as soft as rose petals. How could that be though? InuYasha recalled Miyuki disappearing, and honestly he thought she would have died. The last time he saw her was almost 50 years ago. Then InuYasha remembered his brother. He had been involved in the relationship. For a moment InuYasha had been jealous; Miyuki spent a lot of time with Sesshomaru. Then again, InuYasha had met Kikyo. His eyes went back to the fight. Sesshomaru was using Tokijin and the blade was pressed up against Miyuki's sword, Jenkoutsu. The weapons were giving off very strong demonic auras. InuYasha felt a streak of fear go through him. He remembered Kaijinbo and how he had disintegrated when he wielded Tokijin. Sesshomaru was a lot stronger (well, less than InuYasha cared to admit), than the idiot Kaijinbo and could finish off the hanyou in one swipe. Though, it looked like to InuYasha, They were even!
