October 2009 Quotes & Banners!

Oct 04, 2009 20:29

And it starts again! One day following the beginning of InuYasha: The Final Act, we're hoping to put your newly-prodded plot bunnies to good use ^_^

Today is our first day of the quotes for OCTOBER!
Yay October - Halloween obviously plays a role in this month's theme: "Fear" ^_^

As always, you do not have to use the quote word-for-word in your piece - these are just plot bunny-pokers! As long as it involves the InuYasha characters, your piece can be anything... any pairing, any universe, any format, any length.

There is no voting, no time limit... Whatever you pop out, we want to read, lemme tell ya!

The muse-fodder this month is:

Week #1:
Where there is no imagination there is no horror.

-Arthur Conan Doyle, Sr.

Week #2:
Nothing gives a fearful man more courage than another's fear.

-Umberto Eco

Week #3:
Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title.

-Shaggy, Scooby-Doo

Week #4:
You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you.

-Eric Hoffer

And for performing various word-y tricks, we have amazing treats courtesy of the lovely and talented luxken27.
This month's shinies for writing for us feature those we fear (somewhat, LOL) - Naraku's various offspring/incarnations

Complete all four, and you'll have a nice-looking set!

Thanks again for all your participation!
