Surgery update

Sep 12, 2007 21:27

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to post a little something about the surgery yesterday. It started a bit too late, and went a little long, but it was a smashing success. I now have a sharper and brighter image in my left eye than I do in my right! Of course, coming with that is double vision and periodic headaches while my brain quite literately re-learns how to see with the new resources. I had to pop-out the left elnse in my glasses and the sharpness and color is better in my left even with that than in my right. Time will only tell how good it will get.

As for the right eye, the doctor is happy now and he says we can do my right eye's lense replacement "at any time I'm comfortable". So I am working on what times would be good for it now. I may have the best vision I've ever had by Thanksgiving or even Halloween!

More to come. Meanwhile, some pictures posted to my Flickr account of past excursions. I don't take many pictures, hope you enjoy none-the-less.

Cheers.
